holy experience

Today I wanted to start a new feature on my blog. I saw this over on my friend Sara’s blog. Sara has the sweetest heart of anyone I have met and I would love to join her in this.

Sara and I first met on a mission trip to Panama, one of the many we have taken there. The next year through divine coincidence my friend Rachel was set to visit the YWAM base in Costa Rica that Sara was at, and I was able to join her last minute. The following year D and I were able to visit and stay with her family again in Costa Rica.

Sara is a wonderful friend (although we don’t talk as often as we should) and I encourage you to get to know her on her blog.

Here is my start of a 1000 Gifts I am thankful for. My prayer is that God will teach me many things through this journey.

1. I am thankful for a God who allows me to know him and forgives us all.

2. My sweet husband who loves me and our son through it all.

3. My Little G, crazy, adorable ball of energy with the world’s most infectious smile and laugh.

Stopping by from the Gratitude Community…I'm glad you're starting your list. It's nice to think about what we're thankful for all year long, rather than just at Thanksgiving. 🙂
