1000 Gifts (12-14)

Welcome to Multitude Monday hosted by A Holy Experience. I am on a mission to record 1000 gifts I have. I hope to change my fickle heart and start to truly appreciate all that God has given me.

12. My 30th birthday. Ok, this was a bit tough to be thankful for. But really I am glad that I have had 30 great years. Not everyone gets to have 30 years. So, sure I could be bummed about getting older. Seeing some baby wrinkles show up and checking for grey hairs with good reason. But truthfully, I’ll take it all and be happy about it.

13. Trains. I love trains. I love the gentle rocking as you roll along. I love the 4 seats that get to face each other. And, I love that I don’t have to drive in the city. (I think the city also appreciates me not driving).

14. Iceland. Yes, the country. I have been thinking about Iceland for the last couple of weeks again. We had such a fantastic time there. I can’t wait to go back. I’m not sure when we’ll be able to go, but the fact that it’s out there and waiting makes me smile.
