Dreaming of Panama

It has been several years since D and I have visited our friends in Panama. And I really want to go back. Last year at this same time I said the same thing… Panama has a huge chunk of my heart.

Well, so much has changed in the time since we have been there. 5 or 6 new buildings have been built, the classroom even has air conditioning now! (That one makes me a little jealous) One of the major changes is that the base leaders have decided to start a new base in the mountains of Panama, in the Chiriqui region.

It would be so great to see them and be able to help out with this awesome new adventure of theirs. But, I’m pregnant. And the crazy thing is, we’re still thinking about going. There are a few obstacles that we will need to figure out first though.

1. Will the doctor be ok with this? (asking on Wednesday)
2. Will we be in the way? (asking today)
3. Can we afford it? (we would need to save)
4. Can we renew D’s passport in time (oops)?

I’m sure there are a bunch of other worries, but we’ll get to those soon enough.
