2 years have gone by. 2 whole years. It was a wonderful day for everyone. The weather cooperated beautifully, G was in a good mood and fun was had all around.
We decided to go with a very basic theme for his birthday this year. Balloons! Monkeys and cars will be around for a while, but his love of balloons probably won’t be as strong next year.
To start the excitement off we filled his bedroom floor with balloons the night before so he would find them when he woke up. It was so much fun to hear him through the monitor. Mommy… balloons! Mommy, daddy… balloons!
Here’s a quick clip and some photos of G with his balloon room.
Next we had set up his easel (gift) in the living room.
And of course, the first thing he did was erase our beautiful artwork.
After a somewhat relaxing morning I headed off to set up for the party and and D followed with G later on.
The creativity of 2 little boys really came out then. They took 1 pool, 1 new slide, and the balls from 1 new ball pit to form a wholly new and even more exciting gift.
And of course, you can’t forget the cake.
Happy Birthday Little Man!
