Still here….

This is just a quick post to let you know that I am still here. And still very pregnant.
The last two weeks have been somewhat of a blur. D started his new job last Monday. I think he really likes it. But the transition from working at home full time to working almost an hour away has been… let’s say less than graceful. While yes we are surviving, our house could not say the same. D doesn’t have very many nice clothes so I have been doing lots of laundry. Lots and lots of laundry.
This drastic change coupled with my work going from busy to insane to it will take a small miracle to finish it all has left us downright disgusting. I am fairly certain that a family of rodents could actually be living in the (clean) clothes piles in our bedroom and we would never know it.
Oh and to make this all easier, D’s gout has flared up really badly leaving a lot of the responsibilities on me.
The next week will really be a challenge for us. I’m hoping to find a way to get clean, and but I just don’t see that happening.
It would be nice if we have a fairy godmother to come and fix our mess or maybe Mary Poppins…
On the upside, it’s only a week and very soon I will have maternity leave and rest… ha ha.
