The Writing on the Wall
Today I will show my naivety. Two is tough. I never thought it would be this tough though. Big Brother has ALWAYS listened so well. But now, at two, he has a mind of his own. And he’s using it!
No more is the little boy that would throw something away because you asked him. Now he will go over to the trash and then hide that he’s keeping it. Yes it’s tough watching him push the boundaries, and push my limits, but at the same time it’s nice to see him growing more independent and making his own decisions. It’s not just “who taught him that?” now it’s because he learned it himself…
No more is the boy that would play with his crayons only on paper.
Do you remember when your child first became independent?
