DIY days of the week closet organizer

Since moving upstairs o have really been trying to get a handle on the disaster we call our home. I am organizing each room as the stuff comes upstairs, instead of doing it after the fact. One thing that’s new is both kids will have their own closets. Fantastic!

With both kids attending daycare and the fact that my boss really appreciates me showing up in the morning (or at all), I have decided to get things ready the night before. And in case you were wondering… this does not come naturally to me.

In my search for how to arrange the new upstairs, I found a cool days of the week organizer for closets, however it is $30! I just can’t spend $60 for two kids’ closets. So instead I decided that this was a super easy DIY.

I found a six shelf organizer at Walmart that only cost $8 and because it was a cheesier plastic one instead of fabric, I was able to just write the days of the week on each shelf in permanent marker.

I hung it up and there you go!
