PVC Playhouse sneak peek

I’ve been seeing all these cute playhouses on Pinterest lately. I really wanted to make one for Big Brother (and some day Little Sister) but money and time were very tight! Initially I wanted to make a loft style bed with a playhouse underneath it for Big Brother’s room. Like the ones found on http://ana-white.com. I think that I will do something like that in the future, but for right now, he’s still pretty happy in his crib.

With the upstairs finally finished and all of us sleeping up there now, it leaves plenty of room downstairs to play with. Literally. After coming across a few of the PVC pipe playhouses, I decided that I could pull that off. But I wanted a twist on mine. I didn’t want to have curtains for windows and doors. I wanted them to work.

It wasn’t very difficult and I think it came out fantastic!

    My daughter is a 4K teacher and wants to set up a dramatic play center. Your PVC playhouse would be a great start, and would be flexible enough to be used as many “places”. Have you ever written up the dimensions, and do you have any advice for covering the roof, walls, door, windows?

    Did you ever write down your instructions? I’m currently making a playroom for my two kiddo’s and have been searching everywhere for PVC playhouse instructions and this playhouse is by far the best! I just have NO idea what I would need.
