Charging stations are great. I love how they keep everything nice and tidy. All the cords are tucked away and the charging station can look fantastic on your counter.
But here’s the problem. They’re all pretty generic. White or brown, with the exception of the wild grass one.

(Um I actually love this one, but it’s not for everyone)

So with a little help from a friend, I made one as a gift.
I went down to Staples and picked up some desk accessories in a beautiful pale teal color.

What you will need:
Drawer/paper organizer
Trays for the top
Exacto knife
Hot glue an gun

First you cut a hole the length on the drawer and about 1″ wide.

Next you cut a 1 1/4″ square hole in the back and then the back of the drawer. Make sure to cut the outside first, then with the drawer closes mark for the hole in the drawer.

Next line the holes with hot glue to keep the paper from fraying and help the cords to not slide back in the holes.

Lastly place the trays on top, gluing them is optional.
